1924 - 1925 Tudor Sedan
1923 - 1925 Fordor Sedan
The battery trap door on the 24 - 25 Tudor Sedan and on the 23 - 27 Fordor Sedan actually make up the rear floor on the driver's side. There were three different variations used. The first has a half lap joint where it meets the floor boards on the passenger's side and as far as we can tell was used in the 23 - 24 model years. The second style is the same but without this half lap joint and was used in the 24 - 25 model years. The third style does not have the half lap joint, but the finger hole is on the front edge instead of the side edge.
Note: The Fordor Sedan continued to use the battery trap door through the 26-27 model years. The Tudor sedan did not. The rear floor was covered with the rear floor board.
