1926 - 1927 Floorboards

Front Floorbooards

For the 1926 model year, Ford standardized the front floorboards on both the open and closed cars. Thus, the Coupe, Tudor, Touring and Roadster all used the same set of floorboards. The only model that used different floorboards were the Fordor sedan. The Fordor body was essentially a continuation of the 1923-1925 body with an updated cowl. The 1926-1927 Fordors used the same floorboards as the 1923-1925 Fordoors with a different #1 floorboard to accomodate the new cowl. The 1926 model floorboards continued through the 1927 model year.
These floorboards were copied from an excellent set of original floorboards from a 1926 Touring.

Assembly Notes:
Painting
The wood parts of the floorboards should be painted with a semi-gloss black paint.
The metal trim plates should be painted with a gloss black paint.

Pedal Plates
These floorboards use the pedal plates with the wider pedal spacing (Lang's P/N 3625BS). These were riveted to the floor boards using tubular rivets.

Handbrake Plate
The Handbrake Plate is installed on the top side of the #3 floorboard and surrounds the opening for the handbrake. Like the pedal plates, it also went through several changes. Initially it was a flat plate held on with screws (this plate is included as part of Lang's 3625-33E3). This plate changed over to the later style at the same time as the pedal plates. This later plate (Lang's P/N 3633) is installed using four #15 x 5/8" wire nails.
