1915 - 1925 Front Floorboards
These floorboards were used on a variety of models between 1915 and 1915. For some of the models
it is clear that these floor boards were definitly used. For some of the other models, the documentation
is not so clear. On some sheets it lists these other models and on some it does not. We are currently
trying to verify these questionable models to see what floorboards they actually used.
- 1915 - 1925 Touring (definitly used)
- 1915 - 1925 Roadster (definitly used)
- 1915 - 1918 Town Car (possibly used)
- 1915 - 1918 Coupelet (possibly used)
- 1919 - 1922 Coupe (definitly used)
The floorboards we make were copied from several original sets.
They consist of the #1 and #2 boards (which contain the pedal openings), and
the #3 floorboard (which is the main floorboard). The #3 floorboard contains the two
cleats attached to the bottom side.
These floorboards do not include the pedal trim plates, or the emergency brake
trim plate. Those pieces are available seperatly.

Assembly Notes:
Painting
The wood parts of the floorboards should be painted with a semi-gloss black paint.
The metal trim plates should be painted with a gloss black paint.
Pedal Plates
Two different pedal plates were used on these floorboards. Up until 1917, the pedal plates were
flat steel plates (Lang's P/N 3625-33E3). The floorboards were drilled with a 3/32" drill, 3/8" deep
to accept the #9 x 5/8" blued steel round head wood screws.
During 1917, the pedal plates went through several changes, finally ending up as the later style
with the tabs (Lang's P/N 3625AS). These were were specified to be nailed to the floorboards using #15 x 5/8"
wire nails. In practice, it appears that the pedal plates were not always nailed. Many (if not most)
seem to be installed with just the bent tabs holding them in place.
Handbrake Plate
The Handbrake Plate is installed on the top side of the #3 floorboard and surrounds the opening for the
handbrake. Like the pedal plates, it also went through several changes. Initially it was a flat plate held on with screws (this plate is included as part of Lang's 3625-33E3). This plate changed over to the later style at the same time as the pedal plates. This later plate (Lang's P/N 3633) is installed using four #15 x 5/8" wire nails.
